AI startup Aivar has successfully raised $4.6 million in a seed funding round led by Sorin Investments, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners. The company aims to use this new capital to expand its operations in India, the US, and the Middle East, as well as to recruit senior talent. Aivar, founded in 2024 by former AWS executives Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran, and Aadharsh Ayappan, provides comprehensive AI services including strategy, custom AI development, and continuous operations. The startup, which already collaborates with over 80 clients, is enhancing its delivery capabilities and developing reusable AI components to position itself as a viable alternative to traditional IT service firms. Aivar also offers proprietary tools for voice-based AI, workflow automation, and AI infrastructure management to expedite deployment times. This funding round highlights the increasing investor interest in AI-driven service startups, as businesses seek to integrate AI more fully into their operations. The GenAI ecosystem is rapidly growing, with projections estimating it to become a $17 billion market by 2030, supported by over $1.6 billion raised by AI-native startups between 2022 and Q3 2025.
