DianaHR, a startup founded by former Gusto HR engineering lead Upeka Bee, has successfully raised $3.7 million in a seed funding round led by SNR Ventures, with participation from General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and notable tech founders. The San Francisco-based company aims to transform HR services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through its AI-powered HR-as-a-Service platform. By automating numerous HR tasks, DianaHR claims to save business owners over 15 hours a week and cut costs by 60 percent. The funding will be used to expand the company’s engineering and operations teams, enhancing its product offerings and onboarding more clients from its waitlist. DianaHR’s platform stands out by offering a seamless experience, integrating with existing HR and payroll software without requiring SMBs to overhaul their current systems. Each client is paired with a human specialist who provides expertise and support, while the platform automates routine tasks, streamlining HR processes for business owners.
