Has Kunzapp secured $2M in seed funding from Wollef?

Kunzapp, a startup operating between Mexico and Chile, has successfully raised $2 million in a seed funding round, elevating its valuation to $10 million. The round was spearheaded by Wollef, with additional backing from The Hustle Fund, Wayra, Fen Ventures, Tantauco, and Byx Ventures. This investment builds on a previous $700,000 round secured earlier in 2023.

Specializing in optimizing software expenditures, Kunzapp offers a platform that automatically detects and analyzes all applications used within an organization, detailing user engagement, frequency, and costs. This innovation allows companies to cut software budgets by an average of 23% through eliminating wasteful spending, maintaining oversight, and negotiating improved contracts.

The newly acquired funds will be directed towards expanding Kunzapp’s presence in Mexico and bolstering its operations in Colombia. The company also plans to enhance its AI-driven platform with new capabilities, including real-time contract status updates, renewal notifications, underutilization monitoring, and intelligent benchmarking. These features aim to seamlessly integrate with ERP systems and streamline procurement processes.

In under three years, Kunzapp has achieved significant milestones, saving clients over $3 million, expanding its reach to seven countries, and securing major clients such as Kavak, Colektia, and Simetrik.
