Nila, a healthtech startup based in London, UK, has successfully raised $2.4 million in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by LocalGlobe, with additional investments from Redbus Ventures and angel investors linked to companies like Revolut, Wise, and Nala. LocalGlobe, known for its focus on early-stage investments in the UK and European startup scene, played a pivotal role in this funding effort.
The funds will be utilized by Nila to enhance the growth of its AI-powered care coordination platform, expand its operations throughout India and Asia, and enlarge its network of certified carers. Founded by Anthony Jacob, Nila provides a cutting-edge solution enabling immigrants to manage healthcare and caregiving for elderly relatives remotely. This is achieved through an AI-driven platform combined with proprietary cross-border payment systems and a network of Nila Certified carers. With offices in New York, London, and New Delhi, Nila has already handled over 3,000 care requests in more than 10 Indian cities.
