Has One UI 8 reached the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4?

In recent weeks, Samsung has been rolling out the One UI 8.0 update to a range of its high-end and mid-range Galaxy devices. The latest to receive this update are the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, marking a significant upgrade for these devices. This stable update, built on Android 16, is now available in several countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe. For the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the update is identified by firmware version F721BXXUAIYIF, while the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s update is marked by firmware version F936BXXUAIYIF. Included in this update is the October 2025 security patch, enhancing the devices’ security. Given the update’s size of over 3GB, users are advised to download it over Wi-Fi. Owners of these models can check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install, and then proceed with the installation. One UI 8 introduces redesigned apps such as Samsung Internet, Quick Share, and Weather. Samsung DeX now benefits from Android 16’s Desktop Mode, offering a more stable user experience, while Secure Folder boasts improved security. Additionally, users will find enhanced management options for alarms, calendar entries, and reminders.
