Gabonese startup POZI has achieved a significant milestone by raising €650,000 in its inaugural seed funding round. This funding, led by Saviu Ventures with contributions from EMSY CAPITAL and Chazai Wamba, marks the first international venture capital investment in a local technology company in Gabon. POZI, a leader in connected mobility solutions, is transforming fleet management and decision-making for African businesses with its innovative platform. The company currently manages over 2,500 connected vehicles and serves nearly 200 corporate clients, providing real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and risk management tools tailored for the African transport sector. With the mission of “Connecting Africa, one vehicle at a time,” POZI aims to bridge digital divides across the continent. The startup plans to expand into Côte d’Ivoire by 2025 and targets 35,000 connected vehicles across 10 countries by 2030. The recent funding will bolster POZI’s technological infrastructure, enhance its data analytics, and drive regional growth, reinforcing its position as a leader in Africa’s connected mobility landscape. This investment highlights the increasing international confidence in Central Africa’s digital transformation and Gabon’s emerging status as a center for innovation and startup growth.
