Samsung Electronics East Africa has introduced its most sophisticated television to date, the 2025 NEO QLED 100-inch AI TV, in Kenya. This flagship model redefines large-screen home entertainment by integrating advanced display technology with Samsung’s Vision AI platform. The launch event in Nairobi emphasized the TV’s ability to enhance immersive viewing and smart connectivity.
According to Rahul Kochhar, Business Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung East Africa, the Vision AI technology not only improves picture and sound quality but also revolutionizes TV interaction with the home environment.
Key features include a 100-inch NEO QLED display for cinematic viewing, an intelligent processor that adjusts picture and sound, and Quantum Matrix Mini LED technology for superior contrast and brightness. The TV also offers 4K UHD resolution with AI upscaling, HDR10+ for vibrant colors, and Dolby Atmos for immersive audio.
The Smart Hub, powered by Vision AI, provides seamless access to streaming apps, cloud gaming, and smart home controls, while the Samsung Gaming Hub supports high-performance gaming features. The TV runs on Tizen OS with a 7-year upgrade program for continuous software support.
Samsung aims to cater to the rising demand for premium large-format TVs in Kenya, driven by increased streaming, better broadband, and a growing affluent consumer base. The TV, designed for discerning customers, promises premium craftsmanship and intelligent features.
The model comes with a two-year warranty, professional installation, and access to Samsung’s service network. It’s available through Samsung stores and authorized dealers across Kenya, priced at KES 699,000.
