Samsung has shifted its usual update strategy by initially deploying the July 2026 security patch to Galaxy Watches before extending it to other devices. Now, the Galaxy S26 series is the first among smartphones to receive this update. Currently, the rollout is limited to South Korea, with the update sized at 553.54MB and labeled as version S94xNKSS4AZG3. This latest patch addresses 57 security vulnerabilities from the previous firmware, enhancing the security of the Galaxy S26 lineup. Samsung is expected to release the update to other regions in the coming days. Users can check for the update’s availability on their Galaxy S26 by navigating to Settings, selecting Software update, and choosing Download and install. In a broader software context, Samsung had introduced the One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy S26 series in May, offering a preview of its newest Android interface.
