Brazilian startup PipeImob has successfully raised $3 million in a Seed funding round led by the global venture capital firm Headline. Based in São Paulo and established in 2022 by Roberto Nascimento, Renato Rodrigues, and Danilo Herrero, the company aims to accelerate its entry into the rental and property management sector while expanding its financial services offerings.
PipeImob, a self-described ‘proptech-fintech’, offers an integrated platform that combines Transaction Relationship Management with embedded financial technology tools, digitizing the entire real estate transaction process. The platform encompasses a range of services, from e-signatures and title registrations to digital accounts, automated billing, and commission advances. In 2024, the company reported processing $3.2 billion in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
Roberto Nascimento, who previously co-founded Zap Imóveis, noted the strategic move into the rental market is driven by customer demand for a unified solution to manage both transactions and finances. He highlighted that more than 95% of the market remains fragmented, and with Headline’s backing, PipeImob is poised to scale its services.
Headline partner Romero Rodrigues emphasized that PipeImob is not merely another tool for real estate agencies but a transformational infrastructure capable of redefining property transactions in Brazil, including buying, selling, and renting. Currently, over 300 agencies utilize PipeImob’s platform, positioning it as a crucial component of Brazil’s real estate transaction landscape.
