Samsung is gearing up to unveil two new foldable smartphones in July, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is anticipated to be the more budget-friendly option, boasting a wider design compared to its counterpart. Recently, this device was spotted in South Korea, with two blurry photos surfacing online. These images, taken in a restaurant, show the phone both resting on a table in a protective case and in use, highlighting its dual-camera rear setup. Despite the unclear quality of the photos, the device appears wider and shorter than previous models in the series, aligning with earlier leaked renders. Initially rumored to be named the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, it seems Samsung opted for a simpler name. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to be more affordable than the Ultra model, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, 12GB of RAM, a minimum of 256GB storage, and a 4,800mAh battery. Both models will reportedly include a 200MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and dual 10MP front-facing cameras.
