Samsung has expanded its One UI 8.0 beta update to include the Galaxy S24 series, which is now available for users in South Korea and the UK. This Android 16-based update can be tested on the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra models. The update, sized at 3.2GB, comes with firmware version S92xBXXU9ZYH3 in the UK and S92xNKSU9ZYH3 in South Korea, with potential availability in India and the USA on the horizon. To participate, users must register through the Samsung Members app and follow the installation process via the device settings. The update introduces a refreshed user interface, enhanced Samsung DeX and Secure Folder features, and improvements in Quick Share, alarms, calendar, and reminders. Secure Folder now leverages Android’s Private Space, while Samsung DeX benefits from Android 16’s Desktop Mode for increased reliability.
