Samsung has fulfilled its promise to roll out the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G, starting in October. Currently available in Korea, the Galaxy A53 5G update is identified by firmware version GYI2, while the Galaxy A33 5G update carries version GYI3. A broader release to other regions is anticipated in the coming days. To see if the update is ready for your device, navigate to Settings, select Software update, and choose Download and install.
