Has Think raised over $8M in pre-seed funding to expand its AI infrastructure?

Think, a Riyadh-based startup focused on AI infrastructure, announced on July 15, 2026 that it has closed a pre-seed round of more than $8 million led by RAED Ventures and Waed Ventures. The round — which the company says is the largest pre-seed raise for AI infrastructure and deeptech in the MENA region to date — also included the venture arm of Dhahran Techno Valley and several strategic angel investors.

A round led by regional players
Co-led by RAED Ventures and Waed Ventures, the financing underlines growing regional investor appetite for hardware and software stacks dedicated to AI. Alongside the two lead investors, Dhahran Techno Valley’s venture arm and a group of business angels participated, bringing the total to north of $8 million.

Deploying and industrializing AI infrastructure
Think plans to allocate the capital across hiring, production ramp-up, product development and international expansion. The startup intends to accelerate deployments inside Saudi Arabia and broaden its footprint across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and select overseas markets.

Hardware and orchestration software at the core
Founded in 2026 by Ahmed AlSharif and Ammar Enaya, Think offers a unified platform that pairs high-density, multi-GPU compute nodes with liquid cooling and a proprietary bare-metal orchestration software called ILM. The combined hardware-software approach is designed to lower both the cost and complexity of AI infrastructure by optimizing physical systems and automating orchestration. Development of the ILM software is explicitly listed among the planned uses of the new funding.

Regional impact and outlook
By positioning this round as the largest pre-seed for AI infrastructure and deeptech in MENA, Think aims to become a local industrial-scale provider of AI systems. The company is emphasizing manufacturing scale-up and the development of human capital to support its regional ambitions.

Think is headquartered in Riyadh. For more information: https://www.think-ai.com

This funding round is a meaningful first step; the company now needs to translate capital into operational capacity and real-world deployments to secure its role in the Middle East’s AI infrastructure ecosystem.
