Turbo Law has successfully launched its AI platform for complex litigation after closing a $3.8 million seed funding round. The funding was led by Revo Capital, with contributions from several investors, including Treeo VC, BridgeX Ventures, and notable individuals such as John E. Hall, Jr. and Gokul Rajaram.
The platform is designed to handle the intricacies of complex litigation, which involves managing numerous facts across thousands of documents. It aims to integrate review, strategy, drafting, and settlement into a cohesive workflow, offering legal teams an updated, live representation of their cases rather than just a searchable document repository.
Key features of the platform include privilege management, ethical walls, and auditability, all crafted to enhance legal judgment without replacing it. The platform’s workflow allows it to propose actions, which legal teams then verify, while partners make the final decisions.
Already in use for thousands of active cases, Turbo Law’s platform is reported to help litigation teams win more cases, handle more work, and increase the value of their legal matters.
Founded by Jay Sarmaz and Ozgur Bora Gevrek, the company is supported by advisors from prominent law firms and technology companies, and it has participated in the Alchemist Accelerator program.
