How are Binance Alpha’s airdrop rules changing and what are the implications?

Binance Alpha has announced a change in its airdrop distribution rules, which will now occur in two phases starting June 19. The first phase will distribute airdrops to users meeting a specific score requirement, ensuring equal distribution. In the second phase, the threshold will be lowered, allowing for a first-come, first-served distribution until the prize pool is exhausted. Meanwhile, a user reportedly lost 50 million yuan in crypto assets after purchasing a tampered “cold wallet” on Douyin. In other news, Invesco and Galaxy have registered a Solana spot ETF trust, while Trump earned $57 million from his family’s cryptocurrency company during his presidency. Additionally, a16z led a $33 million seed round for Yupp, a decentralized AI evaluation platform. The US SEC has approved Trump Media’s Bitcoin Treasury Agreement Registration, and Ethereum spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $2.176 million, ending a 19-day streak of inflows.
