At the recent World AI Conference in Shanghai, experts emphasized the importance of a comprehensive AI development roadmap that prioritizes secure innovation to address emerging challenges. Luo Laijun, vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, highlighted the need for innovation, security, and universal benefit in AI development. He encouraged private enterprises to bolster cybersecurity and develop international standards to ensure sustainable industry growth. Zhao Zhiguo, a former chief engineer at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stressed the integration of AI and cybersecurity as essential for national resilience. Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Security Group, pointed out the limitations of current AI models and introduced AI agents as a solution, while warning of new cybersecurity threats posed by these technologies. In response, his company has launched security-specific agents to enhance threat response capabilities.
