How did Aydi secure $7.5 million for its AI agronomy assistant launch?

Aydi has successfully secured $7.5 million in a seed funding round to launch Orth, an AI-powered agronomy assistant. The funding was led by COTU Ventures, Daltex, and Nuwa Capital, with additional support from Magrabi Agriculture and Foundation Ventures. Orth aims to provide farmers with real-time, personalized insights by integrating satellite monitoring, predictive analytics, and conversational AI. The platform addresses challenges such as rising input costs, climate volatility, and the shortage of agronomists, offering potential yield improvements of over 20%. The launch is set for the Fruit Attraction event in Madrid from September 30 to October 2, 2025, with plans to expand Orth into a comprehensive AI operating system for global agriculture, reaching millions of farmers worldwide.
