How does the Galaxy A57 compare to the A27?

Samsung’s Galaxy A series for the year is now complete with the official launch of the Galaxy A27, marking the final addition to the lineup. The A27 stands as the most affordable option, while the Galaxy A57 is positioned as the most expensive and feature-rich model.

Priced at $350/€349 for the A27 and $550/€529 for the A57, the two phones differ significantly beyond their price tags. The A57, compared to the A27, showcases superior specifications across the board.

The A57 features a brighter Super AMOLED+ display, an aluminum frame, and superior dust and water resistance with an IP68 rating, compared to the A27’s IP64. It is also slimmer and lighter, with enhanced camera capabilities and faster charging. The A57 is powered by the Exynos 1680 chip, offering better performance than the A27’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.

While the A57 boasts more RAM and storage options, the A27 retains the advantage of expandable storage. Despite the A57’s premium build and performance, its $200 higher price tag reflects its enhanced features. The A27, although decent on paper, presents some unexpected compromises, leaving potential buyers to weigh its value at its price point.
