On November 10, 2025, a conference focused on artificial intelligence for environmental sustainability took place in Egypt, organized by the National Telecommunication Institute and Misr University for Science and Technology. The event highlighted the potential of technology to address global environmental challenges, with discussions centered on leveraging AI for sustainable development. Experts and academics explored how AI can enhance environmental protection through better data analysis, improved monitoring systems, and reduced carbon emissions. The conference also showcased innovative applications of AI in resource management. Students from the Faculty of Information Technology at MUST presented projects demonstrating practical AI solutions for a greener future, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and applied research in tackling urgent environmental issues.
