Apple has released the sixth public betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate, making the builds available to anyone with a compatible device for download and testing. The sixth public betas arrive one week after Apple seeded the fifth public betas and a few hours after the eighth developer betas.
How to enroll in the iOS 27 public beta
To get started, sign up on Apple’s beta website and then opt in to the public beta by opening the Settings app on your device, selecting General, and choosing Software Update.
Beta status and expected timeline
The beta testing process is nearing its end, and no notable new features were found in today’s developer betas. Release candidate versions of the software are expected next week following Apple’s September 9 iPhone event.
