iPhone 18 Pro Colors May Drop Silver for Dark Cherry

Leaker ‘Fixed Focus Digital’ says iPhone 18 Pro colors could include Dark Cherry, Sky Blue and Black, and that a Silver option is “most likely” not going to be offered, adding the model has entered full mass production.

iPhone 18 Pro colors: what we know

In a Weibo post, ‘Fixed Focus Digital’ predicted a color lineup for the iPhone 18 Pro featuring Dark Cherry (also called Burgundy), Sky Blue, and Black, and noted they have not seen evidence of a Silver color in China. If accurate, this would replace all three iPhone 17 Pro colors rather than carry Silver over, as some earlier reports suggested.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman first described the iPhone 18 Pro’s main new shade as “deep red,” while a later report called it Dark Cherry and listed Light Blue, Dark Gray and Silver as other possibilities. Another Weibo leaker, ‘Instant Digital,’ said Apple may skip Black and described Dark Cherry as a mix of burgundy, coffee and deep purple.

Dummy models circulated by Sonny Dickson showed Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Black and Silver, and SIM tray photos have shown Dark Cherry alongside Light Blue and Dark Gray. The various rumors point to Dark Cherry replacing Cosmic Orange as the signature Pro color, with Sky or Light Blue, Silver and Black or Dark Gray also mentioned as possibilities.

Black’s inclusion remains uncertain: Apple reportedly considered black and steel gray for the iPhone 17 Pro before ultimately dropping both. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to be unveiled at the company’s September event next week, alongside the company’s first foldable iPhone, dubbed the ‘iPhone Ultra.’
