In Edmonton, Alberta, the Government of Canada and the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research have announced the appointment and renewal of 42 Canada CIFAR AI Chairs at the Upper Bound AI Conference. Supported by a $24 million investment, this initiative aims to strengthen Canada’s leadership in artificial intelligence by attracting top global AI researchers to foster innovation and train the next generation of AI talent within the country.
