Is Chrome’s new Reading Mode still less accessible than Samsung Internet’s?

Despite being pre-installed on most Android smartphones, Google Chrome lacks the feature richness and customization options of Samsung Internet. Although it recently improved access to its Reading Mode, it still falls short of the ease provided by Samsung Internet’s Reader Mode. Previously, Chrome only displayed a Reading Mode button when it deemed necessary. However, with its latest update, the browser now includes a ‘Show Reading Mode’ option in its menu, consistently available on every webpage. This shortcut remains less accessible than Samsung Internet’s Reader Mode button, which appears directly in the URL bar when text is detected. On the plus side, Google offers additional text customization options, allowing users to choose from three fonts and background colors, and adjust text size from 100% to 250%.
