Dubai is set to host the largest AI conference of the year on November 18-19, 2025, as /function1 returns with an expanded edition after a successful event earlier in May. The conference aims to provide a platform for AI founders worldwide to exchange innovative ideas. The previous event attracted over 600 attendees from more than 4,000 signups, featuring 40 top speakers, extensive discussions, and the UAE’s first major hackathon.
The upcoming two-day conference will feature a selective agenda, addressing the hottest AI trends across various industries including Big Tech, Aviation, Media, Finance, and Education. It will also delve into philosophical and futuristic topics, pondering the proximity of sci-fi visions to reality. With over 10,000 attendees expected, the event will bring together developers, founders, investors, scientists, students, and regulators.
A special Founders Program will gather 5,000 promising AI-based founders and startups for workshops, live pitches, and investor Q&As, offering visibility and strategic opportunities. The conference will also host the Middle East’s largest hackathon, AI Genesis, in collaboration with LabLab and NativelyAI, culminating in a live finale.
AI Future Labs will unite students from top UAE universities in a competition to create AI solutions for global challenges, guided by industry mentors. The event will take place at Festival Arena, a premier venue near Dubai Creek, designed to accommodate such a vibrant conference.
Sponsored by AI/ML API, the conference will feature 150+ speakers from leading AI companies, academia, and government, including notable figures like Ron Levin, Yuki Shirato, and Azamat Zhamangulov. /function1, based in Dubai, continues to grow as a global platform for AI innovation, promising an event where the AI community converges.
