Kimberly-Clark is set to acquire Kenvue in a $48.7 billion deal, bringing together Kenvue’s health and beauty brands like Neutrogena, Aveeno, OGX, and Listerine with Kimberly-Clark’s personal care products. This strategic move follows Kenvue’s review of its business amid declining sales and job cuts. The merger aims to create a global leader in consumer health, offering new growth opportunities. Kimberly-Clark, known for brands such as Kleenex and Huggies, will expand into the beauty sector, enhancing its ability to provide solutions across all life stages. The combined entity is projected to generate annual sales of $32 billion, positioning it as the second-largest in the health and wellness sectors, trailing only Procter & Gamble. Expected cost savings from the merger are estimated at $2.1 billion within the first two years. The deal, approved by both companies’ boards, is anticipated to close in the latter half of 2026, pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
