North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is set to host the Sixth Annual National HBCU Blockchain, FinTech, and AI Conference on September 19 and 20. The event, organized by the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics, will take place at the university’s Student Center in East Greensboro.
This year’s conference is organized in collaboration with Morgan State University’s National Center for the Study of Blockchain and FinTech. Sponsored by Ripple, Coinbase, and LF Decentralized Trust, the theme “Beyond the Ledger: Rewiring Systems for a Decentralized Future” aims to explore the convergence of blockchain, AI, and other emerging technologies.
Participants can expect a variety of sessions, including topics like blockchain in accounting, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and the ethics of autonomous systems. The event will also cover teaching methods for blockchain and AI, as well as the impact of NFTs and the creator economy.
The conference is open to the public at no cost, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. For more details, interested parties can contact Collins Okafor via email.
