As anticipation builds for Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event, hints suggest it might be held in New York City this summer. Samsung has yet to officially announce details, but recent activities point towards the Big Apple as the chosen venue. The company recently revealed a series of Samsung Health events aimed at runners and Galaxy wearable users, starting on July 13 in New York City.
Rumors have previously indicated that Samsung will use this occasion to unveil its latest foldable phones and smartwatches. In a strategic move, Samsung has teamed up with two prominent New York City run clubs, Almost Friday Run Club and Midnight Runners New York, to organize sponsored runs. These events aim to showcase how Galaxy wearable devices can enhance runners’ performance, coinciding with the anticipated launch of the Galaxy Watch 8 series.
Samsung’s initiative emphasizes the critical role of rest and recovery in any training regimen. Collaborating with NYCRuns, the company will set up interactive rest stations equipped with hydration and stretching areas. Here, Samsung will offer tips on leveraging the Energy Score tool and sleep data insights from Samsung Health to boost athletic performance.
The first sponsored run will occur on July 13 at the NYCRuns Queens Ice Cream Social 5K, open to the public with registration available online.
