Samsung is advancing its One UI 9.0 software, having already released three beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series. The company is now internally testing One UI 9.0 on various high-end and mid-range Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy A25. A test build with firmware version A256BXXUCFZF1 has been identified, although this doesn’t guarantee a beta release for the A25. Samsung is focusing on resolving any performance and stability issues before launching the stable version. The Galaxy A25, released in late 2023 with Android 14, is set to receive four major Android OS updates, with One UI 7 and One UI 8 already delivered. The stable One UI 9.0 will first appear on the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra this month, followed by the Galaxy S26 series in August. Samsung plans a gradual rollout to older flagships and compatible mid-range models, aiming to complete the process by the end of the year.
