Samsung, known for pushing the boundaries in television technology, is set to showcase an impressive 130-inch Micro RGB TV at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas. This follows the release of their 115-inch model earlier this year, which debuted in the United States with a substantial price tag of $30,000.
As Samsung plans to introduce more affordable versions of its Micro RGB TVs, the 130-inch model will serve as a testament to the company’s technological capabilities. It will be prominently displayed at Samsung’s The First Look exhibition space at The Wynn during CES.
The introduction of this ultra-large TV comes as competition intensifies in the Micro RGB sector, with various companies entering the market. Samsung aims to demonstrate its leadership in this technology, particularly given the challenges of maintaining quality and performance at such sizes. Issues like uneven light distribution, color shift, and thermal management become increasingly significant with larger screens.
In addition to the 130-inch model, Samsung will expand its lineup with new sizes, including 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 100-inch options, alongside the continued availability of the 115-inch version. While it remains uncertain if the 130-inch TV will be sold commercially, it is clear that Samsung is keen to highlight its expertise in Micro RGB technology.
