Is the Galaxy S26 Pro’s New Design Slimmer with a Camera Bump?

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series is becoming more defined as recent CAD renders reveal the design of the Galaxy S26 Pro. The renders show a slimmer profile with a reintroduced camera island, featuring a pill-shaped vertical module housing three lenses for a more premium look. The device maintains a typical Samsung aesthetic with a centered hole-punch selfie camera, thin bezels, and a flat aluminum frame with slightly curved edges for better grip. The back is flat with rounded corners, and all buttons are on the right side.

The Galaxy S26 Pro is slimmer than its predecessor, the S25, with dimensions of 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96mm (10.23mm including the camera bump), compared to the S25’s 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2mm. This change allows for a larger 6.3-inch display. Additionally, the battery capacity is expected to increase to 4,300mAh, and there may be built-in magnets for Qi2 charging, similar to Apple’s MagSafe, potentially replacing the Wireless PowerShare feature. The ultrawide camera could also see an upgrade to a 50MP sensor.

The Galaxy S26 series, which includes the S26 Edge and S26 Ultra, is anticipated to launch in January 2026, with more surprises likely from Samsung.
