Is the Galaxy S26 Series Introducing a New Camera Design?

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is attracting attention as early leaks continue to surface, revealing details about the three upcoming models. Recently, cases for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra appeared online, showcasing the phones’ shape and camera layout. Case manufacturer ARMOR-X has listed these cases on its website, suggesting they may have received the devices’ dimensions and designs in advance. Although the cases don’t unveil new features, they confirm Samsung’s design direction for its 2026 flagship phones.

The Galaxy S26 series features a revamped camera design. Unlike previous models with separate lenses, the new Galaxy S models might adopt a unified camera island. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ cases display a vertical, pill-shaped cutout housing three camera lenses, reminiscent of the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s design. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, however, has a different design, with three main lenses on a raised island, while an extra sensor and LED flash are flush with the back. The Ultra’s corners are more rounded, aligning with the rest of the lineup.

Regarding pricing, reports indicate the Galaxy S26’s 256GB version could be priced at $899, a $40 increase from the Galaxy S25 with the same storage. The next-generation Galaxy S series is expected to launch in late February 2026. Customers can also participate in a Mystery Box program to receive a free case, screen protector, cleaning kit, 65W charger, desktop stand, and more with their Galaxy S26 purchase.
