Samsung has started distributing the One UI 8 update, now reaching the Galaxy F55. This update, based on Android 16, is available in India and can be accessed via the phone’s settings. It comes with firmware version E556BXXU4CYJ4, weighs about 2.5GB, and includes the October 2025 security patch. Initially launched in mid-2024 with Android 14, the Galaxy F55 has already received updates to Android 15 and now Android 16, with two more Android OS updates promised. The One UI 8.0 update introduces significant changes, including a redesigned Quick Share, enhanced Samsung Internet and Weather apps, and new features in Samsung Health. Additionally, a new 90:10 split-screen multitasking option and updates to Calendar, Clock, and Reminder apps improve user experience.
