Is the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro stuck with outdated camera technology?

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro, anticipated to be the most affordable model in the upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup, is expected to debut at the next Unpacked event. However, recent leaks suggest that the smartphone will not see any significant upgrades in its camera technology. The main camera is likely to retain the 50 MP ISOCELL GN3 sensor, which has been a staple since the Galaxy S22 series. This sensor will be complemented by a 10 MP zoom lens and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, both of which have been employed in previous models. The selfie camera is also expected to remain unchanged. Overall, the Galaxy S26 Pro’s camera system appears to rely on technology that is at least four generations old.
