Samsung’s Galaxy S26 FE may not show Night Mode as a separate option in the Camera app, but the feature hasn’t been removed — it’s been integrated into the camera layout on One UI 8.5 and newer. Because the S26 FE ships with One UI 9, Night Mode, Single Take and Dual Rec no longer appear individually by default; you can restore them as separate options via the Camera Assistant module.
How to enable Night Mode on Galaxy S26 FE
Open the Camera app and tap the Quick Controls button. Then tap the Settings icon and find Camera Assistant. If the module is not installed, tap the download icon next to it. Once installed, open Camera Assistant and scroll to the Additional modes section, where you will see individual toggles for Night, Single Take, and Dual Rec. Turn on the modes you want, return to the Camera app and open the More section — the selected modes will now appear there as separate options.
Why the modes were harder to find and what they do
On One UI 8.5 and One UI 9, Samsung integrated Night Mode, Single Take and Dual Rec into the Photo and Video modes instead of listing them separately under More. Night Mode captures multiple frames and uses image processing to produce brighter, more detailed photos in low light. Single Take records a continuous clip and uses AI to generate multiple photo and video formats from that single capture. Dual Rec records with both front and rear cameras simultaneously.
