One UI 9: Samsung’s stable Android 17 rollout and devices updated

Samsung has begun a wider official rollout of One UI 9, its Android 17-based interface. The first stable builds reached Galaxy S26 owners in South Korea on September 16, after a beta program that ran since May; since mid-September the update has expanded worldwide, first appearing in the US and then spreading to Europe and other regions.

Which phones have already received One UI 9

The following models had received the stable One UI 9 update as of October 8th. 2026.

– Galaxy Z TriFold
– Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6

Galaxy S series
– Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra
– Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, S25 FE
– Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra

Galaxy A series
– Galaxy A57

You can check update availability manually: Settings -> Software update -> Download and install. If the update is not yet available, it likely means Samsung has not released it for your region.

Rollout status and timing remain region-dependent. As of early October the distribution is ongoing and the update has already reached multiple flagship and newer models.
