Microsoft is introducing a series of new AI features in its latest Windows 11 update. Among these is the Copilot Vision tool, which allows users to analyze and interact with content on their screens using AI. This feature is accessible through the Copilot app and enables users to ask questions or seek assistance with tasks like photo editing. Additionally, those with Snapdragon-powered Copilot Plus PCs can use an AI “agent” in the Settings app to perform tasks using natural language commands. The update also enhances the “Click to Do” feature, offering new actions such as reading fluency practice and document drafting. Exclusive to Copilot Plus PCs are features like an AI sticker generator in Paint and advanced image editing tools. Microsoft is also rolling out non-AI enhancements, including a color picker in the Snipping Tool and a mechanism to address unexpected system restarts. These updates will be available over the next month, with some already accessible through Windows’ preview update and the Microsoft Store.
