The Phone app gains Call Screening and Hold Assist, allowing users to manage unknown callers and automate hold times. The Adaptive Power Mode, exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro models and newer, optimizes battery life through performance adjustments.
Apple Music’s AutoMix feature provides seamless song transitions, while the Preview app, adapted from Mac, enables PDF and image editing on iPhones. CarPlay receives visual upgrades with the Liquid Glass design, improved message responses, and a new compact view for calls. Live Activities, widgets, and AirPlay video streaming are also introduced, with video playback restricted to parked vehicles for safety.
