Apple has launched the iOS 26.2 update, introducing a range of new features for iPhone users. The update brings a Liquid Glass slider on the Lock Screen, allowing users to adjust the clock’s opacity. Apple Music now supports offline lyrics, enabling users to view song lyrics without internet connectivity. Sleep Score metrics have been revised, providing a more detailed analysis of sleep patterns through the Health app on iPhones and the Sleep app on Apple Watches.
The Reminders app now includes the option to set alarms for reminders by selecting the “Urgent” toggle. Apple Podcasts has been enhanced with automatic episode chapters, timed links, and a feature to view mentioned podcasts directly from the audio player. The Apple News app has been revamped with a new “Following” tab and quick-access buttons for various topics.
A new notification feature allows the iPhone screen to flash when alerts are received, adding to the existing LED flash option. Finally, Live Translation for AirPods is now available in the EU, enabling real-time translation through AirPods Pro and higher models, expanding its availability beyond the U.S. and select countries. This feature requires an iPhone 15 Pro or newer and supports multiple languages, enhancing communication across different languages.
