On Wednesday, July 9, Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked event, where the tech giant is expected to unveil new products, including the latest iterations of the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold phones. Anticipation is high, with leaks suggesting that the Z Fold 7 will feature a 200MP main rear camera, enhanced AI capabilities, and a more powerful processor. Samsung promises these foldables will be the thinnest and lightest yet.
Additionally, a new clamshell-style Z Flip 7 is expected, featuring an upgraded exterior cover display. There are also rumors of a third foldable device, possibly a tri-fold smartphone, with marketing hinting at something “Ultra.”
Beyond foldables, Samsung is likely to introduce new smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. There’s speculation about new health features, such as blood glucose monitoring.
Finally, while it’s uncertain, Samsung might reveal its Project Moohan XR headset, slated for a late 2025 release, marking its entry into the wearable XR market.
