What can we expect from the Samsung Unpacked event on July 9?

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is imminent, scheduled to commence at 7:30 PM IST in Brooklyn, New York. Those without an invitation can catch the live stream on Samsung’s YouTube channel and official website. This launch will introduce two new foldable smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Speculation suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might also be unveiled, along with a teaser for a potential Galaxy triple-fold phone.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to be Samsung’s thinnest foldable phone to date, featuring a 6.5-inch outer screen and an 8.2-inch inner screen. It will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB of RAM, and a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto sensor. The device will likely have a 4400mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and its price is expected to be around 1,69,000.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will sport a 4.1-inch outer screen and a 6.9-inch inner screen, both offering 2600 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 processor and feature a 4300mAh battery. The expected price in the Indian market is approximately Rs 1,10,000.

Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a more affordable version of the Flip 7, might also be revealed. Priced around Rs 92,000 in India, it will have a 3.4-inch outer display and a 6.7-inch inner display, along with two external sensors: a 12MP main lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Rumors suggest it will come with a 3700mAh battery.
