The anticipated release of the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, expected around October, promises a design similar to the Galaxy S25 and retains much of the same hardware as its predecessor. This new model will be thinner and lighter than the Galaxy S24 FE, featuring an Armor Aluminum build, the Exynos 2400 chipset, a larger battery with faster charging, and a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 1-120 Hz refresh rate.
Camera-wise, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to maintain the same system as the Galaxy S24 FE, with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto with 3X optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The primary change in the camera department is a new 12MP selfie camera, an upgrade from the previous 10MP, likely featuring autofocus.
Software improvements could play a significant role in enhancing image quality, even with the same hardware. The Galaxy S24 FE performed well in camera tests, praised for its realistic colors and great dynamics, despite some issues with oversharpening and color consistency. The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to address these through software optimizations, potentially matching the performance of the rest of the Galaxy S25 lineup.
Samsung continues to expand its Galaxy range, with another version of the Galaxy S25 expected later this year.
