The Indian government has issued a critical security alert affecting users of Android 16, 15, and older versions, warning of significant vulnerabilities. These issues could allow attackers to access sensitive information or disrupt services on targeted systems. The alert, released by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), highlights flaws involving major hardware companies such as Qualcomm, MediaTek, NVIDIA, Broadcom, and UNISOC. Not only smartphones but also smartwatches, tablets, and smart home devices could be at risk. Users are advised to update their devices with the latest security patches from Google to protect against these vulnerabilities.
