Apple has unveiled its latest product updates through a series of press releases, introducing the new M5 chip across several devices. The MacBook Pro now features the M5 chip with a 10-core CPU and GPU, enhanced Neural Accelerators for the GPU, a memory bandwidth of 153GB/s, and SSD speeds twice as fast as before. It offers up to 4TB of storage and starts at $1,599.
The Vision Pro, also equipped with the M5 chip, boasts 10 percent more pixels on its micro-OLED displays, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a longer battery life of 2.5 hours. It includes a more comfortable Dual Knit Band and is priced from $3,499.
The iPad Pro features the M5 chip with up to a 10-core CPU and GPU, a minimum of 12GB RAM, and twice the SSD read and write speeds. It includes the N1 networking chip with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, as well as the C1X modem for faster cellular data. Fast charge support allows a 50% charge in just 35 minutes, with prices starting at $999.
Pre-orders for these new M5 devices begin today, with an official launch set for Wednesday, October 22.
