Samsung is planning significant changes for the Galaxy S26 lineup next year, particularly for the middle model. The S26 Ultra will maintain its 200MP wide lens and 50MP telephoto lens from the S25 Ultra. However, the S26 Plus, the middle model, might see substantial upgrades. Samsung is considering replacing the Plus model with a new super-thin Galaxy Edge phone, which debuted with the S25 Edge. This change could offer the middle model a distinct identity. Additionally, the phone is expected to feature a new 50MP ultra-wide lens, aligning it closer to the Ultra models. These enhancements suggest that the next Galaxy S-series phone will offer a fresh design and improved camera capabilities, with more details likely to be revealed in January.
