What major design changes are coming to the Galaxy Wearable app?

Samsung is gearing up for the release of two new smartwatches, three foldable phones, and the stable versions of One UI 9.0 and One UI 9 Watch. In anticipation of these launches, the company is revamping the Galaxy Wearable app, with leaked screenshots revealing the new design. The app now includes three tabs—Watch Faces, Home (Connected Devices), and Device Settings—organized in a compact floating tab bar at the bottom of the screen. This redesign aligns with the style of other Samsung apps introduced with One UI 8.5. The Watch Faces section has been relocated to its own tab, while a new Notifications section has been added to the Home screen.

The app’s icons have adopted a monochrome aesthetic, and the full body of the connected Galaxy Watch, including its case, strap, and matching color, is now prominently displayed in the center of the screen, offering users a clearer view of how watch faces will appear on their device. Previously, only the watch case was shown at the top. The Find My Watch and Tips sections are now larger shortcuts within the Device Settings tab.

Additionally, users can leverage Galaxy AI to generate personalized Tiles based on their preferences and frequently used features, rather than manually selecting Tiles and widgets. Samsung is also suggesting AI-generated Tiles for real-time updates like sports scores, stock prices, and news headlines, possibly inspired by Google’s AI-powered Create My Widget feature demonstrated during the recent Google I/O developer conference.
