At the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Alibaba Group introduced a series of AI advancements utilizing its Qwen large language models. These innovations include smart automotive cockpits, enterprise AI solutions, and the company’s inaugural AI smart glasses. Collaborating with Qualcomm and Banma, Alibaba launched a new in-car AI system featuring “Yan AI,” an intelligent assistant designed to enhance driving experiences with natural language interactions and proactive suggestions. Additionally, Alibaba showcased how Qwen is facilitating global digital transformation, as demonstrated by its integration into Signify’s connected street lighting system for AI-driven energy savings and automated maintenance. The company also revealed the Quark AI Glasses, marking its foray into wearable technology. These smart glasses provide real-time translation, transcription, and voice-activated navigation, seamlessly integrated with Alibaba’s digital ecosystem, and are slated for a China release by the end of the year.
