What were Slovakia’s biggest startup funding rounds in early 2025?

Slovakia’s startup ecosystem has made notable strides, ranking 16th in Eastern Europe and 60th globally. In 2024, InoBat captured attention with a significant €100 million raise, marking one of the largest funding rounds in Central and Eastern Europe. In the first half of 2025, several Slovak startups have secured substantial investments. Vestberry, a FinTech company offering a portfolio management solution for VC investors, raised €2.2 million in a seed round. Xatoms, founded by a Slovakian in Canada, is innovating in CleanTech by using AI for photocatalytic molecule discovery, securing €2.62 million. Cequence, an AI-driven platform for contract management, received €2 million to enhance its automation capabilities. CulturePulse, which applies AI to improve decision-making across sectors, attracted €1.45 million in a Series A round. Lastly, Readmio, an EdTech app enhancing the reading experience with voice recognition technology, raised €500,000. These developments highlight Slovakia’s growing influence in the startup landscape.
