Samsung continues its momentum with the rollout of Android 16, updating nine of its top-selling mid-range phones to One UI 8, based on Google’s latest operating system. This number increases to 14 when factoring in regional variants. After completing updates for the flagship Galaxy S and Z series, the focus has shifted to the popular Galaxy A and M lines. Recently, several mid-range models from 2024 and 2023 have begun receiving the update.
The models benefiting from this update include the Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy M15/Wide 7, Galaxy M34/F34, Galaxy M35, Galaxy M53/Quantum 3, Galaxy M54/F54, Galaxy M56/F56, and Galaxy Xcover 7 Pro.
The rollout is being conducted in phases, starting in South Korea for the A33, A53, M15, M53, and Xcover 7 Pro. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M34 and M35 updates are commencing in India, where the M34 is also marketed as the Galaxy F34.
