Which Smartphone Will Debut the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s M14 OLED?

Samsung is set to revolutionize smartphone displays with its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, which will introduce significant advancements such as the M14 OLED material. This new display technology promises brighter screens, better energy efficiency, and longer lifespan. However, before it appears in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the M14 OLED will make its debut in the iQOO 15, marking it as the first smartphone globally to feature this innovation.

The iQOO 15 will boast a 6.85-inch QHD Samsung M14 panel with impressive specifications, including a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of brightness. This advanced display is expected to drastically reduce power consumption by 44% and extend screen lifespan by 50% compared to its predecessor.

Anticipated to launch in October 2025, the iQOO 15 will offer a glimpse into the real-world performance of the M14 panel ahead of the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s release. Meanwhile, Samsung is also planning to integrate an AI-powered privacy feature in the Ultra model’s display, utilizing Flex Magic Pixel technology to ensure screen content remains private from side angles.
