The Galaxy Z Fold 7, boasting the largest screens in its series and powered by the latest Snapdragon processor, retains the same 4,400 mAh battery as its predecessors. Despite initial concerns, recent tests reveal that its battery life is on par with or slightly better than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and significantly improved compared to the Fold 5. Rigorous testing, including tasks like 4K video recording and social media usage, showed the Fold 7 achieving 5 hours and 36 minutes of screen time. It also maintained a cooler temperature, thanks to its larger design aiding heat dissipation. While the improvement from the Fold 6 is minimal, users upgrading from older models like the Fold 5 will notice a substantial difference. Samsung’s effective software and hardware optimizations continue to maximize battery efficiency, even without a larger battery capacity.
